Edgware Road (Circle, District and Hammersmith & City Lines):
Edgware Road tube station on the Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines is a London Underground station on the corner of Chapel Street and Cabbell Street in Travelcard zone 1. A separate station of the same name but on the Bakerloo line is located about 150 metres away on the opposite side of Marylebone Road.
There have been proposals in the past to rename one of the Edgware Road stations to avoid confusion. Neither of them should be confused with the Edgware tube station on the Northern line.

History of  Edgware Road (Circle, District and Hammersmith & City Lines):
This station was part of the world's first underground railway when it was opened as part of the Metropolitan Railway between Paddington and Farringdon on 1 October 1863.
It was the site of one of the 7 July 2005 London bombings. Mohammad Sidique Khan detonated a bomb at about 8:50am, on board a westbound Circle line train as it was leaving the station, killing six passengers.
The station was used in New Tricks series 8 episode called End of the Line which aired in 2011.
