Notting Hill Preparatory School is
situated on a split site. The Junior School, located in the original NHP
building (OB), comprises parallel classes from Reception to Year 3 (ages 4-8).
The Middle School and Senior School, located in the new Jane Cameron building
(JCB), comprise Years 4 to 8 (ages 9-13) – Years 4-6 (Middle School) and Years
7 and 8 (Senior School). The school is divided into four houses: Arundel
(green), Blenheim (yellow), Lansdowne (blue) and Elgin (red). Children are
assigned to a house from Reception and members of a family join the same house.
Each house has a pupil House Captain and a member of staff Head of House. House
meetings are held once a fortnight and activities and charity events are
organised by the children under the guidence of the Head of House. Interhouse
competitions and matches are also organised.
